Today is day 4 and I feel terrific! My energy is up! The biggest thing I have noticed is that my cravings for junk food are pretty much gone. I promise for the last 2 years, I have tried to go ONE day without eating sugar and carbs to see if my headaches will ease. I have failed EVERY SINGLE DAY! I do great during the day but around 3:00pm, I'm starving and cave and have like 3 bowls of cereal and then when the kids go to bed, I fail miserably. Since Day 1, I have had the will power for the first time ever and have not had sugar other than what's in fruit. I had almonds and forced down some water if I felt hungry.
On Tuesday I was driving home and realized that I didn't have carbs or sugar yet and it was 5:00pm. I did it without even realizing!I plan on adding complex carbs to my diet but for now, I'm just avoiding sugar and carbs.
I actually still have the bag of chocolate that my Classical Conversations director gave me 3 days ago. If you know me at all, you know that is not normal. It wouldn't have lasted an hour before Plexus.
Consuming the water has been my biggest struggle. Plexus suggests you drink half your body weight in water. I usually drink maybe 1 bottle of water a day but am now doing 5.
